Parent Content App for Student Devices - Qustodio
In Summer 2024, the ICSD switched our network and device content filter to LineWize. As required by the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA), all ICSD devices, on and off our campus network, are filtered by this system. LineWize has a companion app for caregivers named Qustodio.
All ICSD caregivers are provided a free Qustodio Parent App account. Like our previous GoGuardian Parent app, Qustodio provides important insights into your child’s online activity on their school device. In addition, Qustodio also provides you the ability to add one personal device for free for each connected child.
The Qustodio app offers the following features:
Gain visibility and insight into how school devices (and one personal device) are being used
Receive expert advice on the biggest online safety topics like online bullying, screen time, and gaming
Outside of school hours, Qustodio app users can:
Create custom filter rules
Pause the internet
You’ll also receive access to our district-customized Online Safety Hub. The Hub is full of online safety resources, guides, and best practices, and it also provides extensive information on how to use the Qustodio app, including tutorials and step-by-step instructions on getting started.
Qustodio Account
Caregiver email addresses that are registered with your student's building will receive an invitation email. In the following weeks, an automatic reminder email is sent to caregivers who haven't set up their account. Once set up, caregivers will receive a weekly snapshot of student activity.
Alternatively, caregivers can set up their accounts by visiting auth.qustodio.com/en/my-school and entering the email address registered with their student's building.
Qustodio Support
Caregivers should reach out directly to Qustodio support by emailing myschool@qustodio.com.
A Qustodio support engineer will help troubleshoot with caregivers, usually within 24 hours.
