Project Overview
As part of Phase 2 of the capital project, LACS is receiving upgrades to its main entrance in order to improve security and create a welcome area. Outdoor areas at the school are also being enhanced for student and community use. These include accessibility improvements to the amphitheater and lower-level exit, the addition of a basketball court, and an expansion/upgrade of the school's front entrance. The Black Box Theater is also receiving upgrades.
June 2024 Update from Campus Construction
Power to condenser associated with the AHU serving the black box theater is pending rework/replacement of supports by Mechanical Contractor. Crosby-Brownlie working with their vendor on an acceptable detailed shop drawing for this work.
Cooling units in Main Office, Guidance and Greeter were charged with refrigerant.
Controls work to be completed this week according to Day Automation. Equipment start-up/balancing, and commissioning remain.
