Project Overview
In Phase 3a.2 of the 2019 Capital Project, the windows at Beverly J. Elementary are being replaced, and the school is receiving a new electronic sign. In Phase 3b.1, Beverly J. Martin's exterior facade is being renovated.
September 2024 Update from Campus Construction
Window Replacements
Window replacements are substantially complete.
One window is left to install pending installation of precast masonry/sill by others. Window on hand once work by others is complete.
Facade Restoration
Exterior façade restoration and repointing is 90% complete; caulking around previously infilled windows remains.
Architectural precast concrete around roof parapet has begun in conjunction with some nonfriable caulk abatement. This is expected to continue for several more months.
New window blind mock-up has been installed. The blinds will begin on 2nd shift once they are ordered and received.
E sign is moving forward with the sign vendor and Electrical Contractor.
Site clearing, grubbing and restoration was completed; Principal commented the area along Albany street looks much better.
